The Varsity Boys Basketball team closed out the regular season with a big win over Crooms Academy on Tuesday at Crooms.

After an early season 39 point loss to Crooms in December, the boys Varsity team showed how far they have progressed over the last month with their best play of the season and a convincing 51-39 win. Ethan McIntyre had a great shooting night and was high scorer for the team while Charlie Caporaso exhibited great defensive efforts in the win.

The team now looks to gain valuable experience as they enter State Series play. On Monday, February 4 they will play the District #2 seed Masters Academy in District quarter-final action. The game begins at 7:00 pm and will be played at The Masters Academy home gym at 1500 Lukas Lane, Oviedo. Ticket admission will be $6.00.

The young team has been coached by Jason Kitts in his first year at Circle and is assisted by Michael Simmonds and team manager Dallas Bolton. The young team has shown outstanding improvement over the season with 6 Freshman, 3 Sophomores, and 1 Junior in the lineup. The roster includes Junior Canon Claycomb, Sophomores Aaron Jones, Charles Caporaso, and Ryan Alsene, along with Freshman Ethan McIntyre, Evan Vergare, Griffin Teetsel, Mark Gent, Max Simmonds, and William Larson.
